it was thursday afternoon. allison is about to wake up from her nap. davis is watching cartoons and playing with puzzles. it's sunny outside so i decide we are going to retake some holiday photos for the christmas card. our first shoot did not produce one good picture. i gather their clothes for the photo. allison's dress needs ironing. so i iron it.
turn around. yellow marker on the kitchen floor. no big deal. yellow marker doesn't have a top on it. big deal.
davis, where are you? go into the spare bedroom and find

well, so much for the christmas card photos. guess we'll just have to make a birthday card instead.
